Hopefully attached will be a screen of the issue, the 'Your Outpost' icon still appears on the GUI map. However, the buildings have now been removed. When building an outpost the nameing feature is still fixed to 'Your Outpost'.

I don't know WHY or when this started, I want to say after I downloaded 74.10, but every time I start a fresh game, or load a save I have a random outpost placed down. No buildings or anything but it's on the map. It doesn't even bring up the UI when in the area either so I can't change the name. It's not even in an ideal place to put down buildings either. I've tried deleting the building folder, reinstall from scratch nothing seems to fix it.

Yes, it started with 0.74.10 version and always happens, with a new game and with an imported one (with old saves too)

Hello,

For me, it started in 0.74.9 but there was actually an outpost there. This outpost was made of only blueprints (including one of a "stormhouse" I am pretty sure you cannot build otherwise).
It also contained the blueprint for a cheated ore mine with 100 resources against the approx 10/20 there should be there.

Now I only have the "your outpost" dot on the map (imported 3 times since then because of crashes) but it is on the exact same spot.

Despite this, I can still build my outpost wherever I wish. There's just two dot's on the map.
I never tried setting up a shop so I cant say if it is affected.

Cheers

I also report the similar outpost marker present on map, and also report that there is also nothing on investigation.

I can third this, the random marker is on the exact same spot on my map as well and upon further inspection is also empty. I also cannot rename my actual outpost but i'm not sure is that is related.

This is fixed in 0.74.11.

0.74.10
-Fixed the stray outpost showing on the map
-Fixed characters going back to open the gate when they go outside the base
-Fixed the bounty/slave panel position in the GUI
-Fixed an AI bug with crafting machines

0.74.11
-Fixed some of the flophouses not working
-Stopped (I think) towns errupting into civil war
-Fixed another crash. Keep sending those crashdumps.
-Fixed turrets only doing 1% of their damage
-Fixed NPCs tagging their allies as neutrals
-Escaped slave recognition is now based on an alertness-based timer, same as seeing through disguises
-Slavery status improved, you now have 4 states- free, slave, escaping slave, ex-slave. Escaped slaves eventually lose their slavery status, and also don't get attacked on sight all the time.
-Fixed a crash when automatically hauling weapons or armour to a full container
-Fixed the random broken shopkeepers
-Fixed the stray outpost appearing on the map screen

0.74.12
-Fixed the invisible in character editor bug

Can confirm that. Didn't manage to test 0.74.11, but my game imported into 0.74.12 doesn't have the ghost outpost anymore.

@Hatsune, did you import with buildings?

While some of the reported ghost outposts, like the one you're seeing, doesn't have any buildings, some do (like the one I saw.) It's possible that even if the outpost doesn't have any buildings, something in there is imported along with the rest of the buildings since the outpost is ostensibly player-owned.

Otherwise, dunno. Will try importing again and starting a new game to see if I could get the ghost outpost to reappear.

yea i did
it cleared it up. but darn it. that's my 7th base i rebuilt during the 74.x patches. as was getting tired of the nearly non existent building materials in the shops to keep rebuilding said bases.

it was just to show the marker is still there even if the area was empty.

Yeah, does suck. Just had to rebuild 3 times since I jumped in just recently, but dreading having to do it again now that my base is nice and purty.
