Do you believe the sexes should be equal?

map is 75% complete according to the lofi people....
My gut tells me, that the new map update will be in before fallout 4 launches.
That makes my business sense tingle like crazy, because this game will be 30 bucks cheaper, and be 13 times bigger...

That's unlikely.. There are so many creature concepts, and there's no promise that all of them will make it into the game. They don't even know which animals will and won't, or how many there will be in the end. It's just one of those game assets that can be expanded on at any time depending on what they're up for doing. So it would be silly to hold off on such a major game feature like taming until something so malleable was "complete".Chinsei wrote:blekejaka wrote:I know ...
Hopefully he does it in the next upcoming patches
would seem unlikely they'll probably wait till the map is finished. an that all the creatures are finished before starting on taming.
It would actually be beneficial to have the taming mechanic complete before you're finished with all the animals, so you can design them around the taming mechanic, rather than having to back through them all one by one and adjusting anything that might need changing...
It's going to be one of those internal battles, deciding which one to waste away your thousands of hours on...philthymcnasty wrote:map is 75% complete according to the lofi people....

past experiences make me wary of games with nice trailers they usually end up really buggy >.> but this has been in the making for awhile so hopefully F4 will be nice.Zeal wrote:That's unlikely.. As far as
when they add animal taming dunno. i don't think it'll be that essential though it would be nice to have horses mounted combat an horse archers seem like they'd be right at home in the desert.
so long as they act like horsemen.
the reason i say they'd probably wait for all the animals to be added is simply because it seems like it'd be easier to go back an pick through which ones would be viable to tame an which wouldn't. but i've never my own game so i don't know what would make more work seems like it'd be easier to make them all tameable after they're in than it would be one at a time simply because of all the methods of taming that potentially coudl exist for different animals.
Hopefully it works on tameing humans too. brainwash bandits into going out an robbing for me an bringing me back all the loot
Most likely taming creatures would function similarly to the Pack Gars that accompany the Trading groups that wander around. Those pack gars have their own backpacks and have been set to follow the leader trader. Hahahaha, taming them could involve beating them up and after that they're set to follow you and you could loot them at will. That's a fairly simple thing to implement I think.
