Its simple, while a squad member is selected, right click a bed, and set that bed ownership to that squad member.
Then, have an option to "return to be and heal" when health hits a certain point. Furthermore, medics can carry people to their beds, after they do the first aid, if the beds are close enough.
Other beds can be assigned "general ko bed", so if you have a field base in a town or somewhere, the medics can carry a person there.
Assign beds to squad members, better bed mechanics.
I wouldn't mind this. People who are sufficiently injured and in need of faster healing should show themselves to a bed (if available and in range) until healed. Assigning them beds probably helps avoid AI problems of 2 people aiming for the same bed... and the last to get there gives up because his bed is being used.
People rescuing others should also try to put them on their own assigned bed where available, or an unassigned bed otherwise. I wish rescue was assignable as a job task the same as first aid is. It would be handy if I could assign medics to do this (with priority to medic first them rescue).
Assigned beds might be even more important to do if something like fatigue from labor is ever implemented.

The rescue option works for what you were describing having the medics do.
Anyone will pick up wounded and take them to the nearest bed.
I like to create barracks and hospitals. So I like the options to automate people heading for them when they are needed. But they need to be like the medic AI, don't trigger when there is a fight going on. I don't want troops leaving the fight heading for their beds.

Do you believe the sexes should be equal?

I sort of want to see a comfort stat. Like the more comfortable your squad, the better work bonuses, and easier recruitment.
so if everyone gets their own shack/ house, with light, then people will want to sign up.
Especially if the houses have fans and what not.
I like the idea of being able to assign beds to characters or npcs. Then we could recruit citizens and assign soliders to houses ect. but I also like barracks and hospitals where there are beds open for everyone.
Currently if you buy a house in town you will have the previous owner showing up to sleep there every night. It would be nice if when we bough the house the former owner would move out or join the team.
