So before the most recent update for experimental I used to play in DX9 in Full screen. When I read the release notes I saw it had to be in DX11 to play, so I thought okay seems fine. Load up the game in full screen and it doesn't work. By that I mean the game would show up in the resolution I set it to (1280 x 800 or something along those lines) in the top left corner of my screen. The only fix I could find told me to change my in game resolution to match my monitor. Of course running Kenshi at 1920 x 1080 kills my FPS so that isn't an option.
Looked for other bug posts and didn't see any so I apologise if there has already been one.
Fullscreen DX11 - Doesn't work?
i guess many prefers the windowmode, which doens't help you in that case because it doesn't Sample the screen higher with less Pixels either, but if you want atleast to have a "windowbox" which isn't stucked on the upper left screen it would be an improvement.
Edit:
a similar problem got mentioned in the 4k Topic if i understood it right, but i prefer your description more

I had this problem with my laptop (fullscreen 1080p). I fixed it by right clicking on the kenshi_x64 executable, going to properties and selecting the 'Disable display scaling on high DPS settings' option in the compatibility tab.

I'm getting the same problem on 1920x1080
you could tryout, to choose your wanted resolution and hit the maximize button in windowmode when in the Main menu ( where you choose to start a new game), maybe it helps. but it's hard to tell apart if it Samples the screen or not, had no coffee or similar my eyes are small like from an addict.
only downside the nametags are Offplace asfar as i can tell from looking at it.
if maximized in the actual ingame screen other says they have greensquares as fillers, that is prevented in this case. but if you click to resize the window back in the actual size Ingame it turns out green
@Kharm is 1920x1080 your native screen resolution?
because we want to get it work for Fullscreen that the fullscreen is used instead of the used Resolution in the settings so the game gets Sampled up to the Native screen resolution to lower the GPU load.
