This is just for testing out the armor modding concept, I have bigger plans in the near future, but for anyone that wants to try this out, feel free to use it, I love sharing stuff anyways.

Here is how the helmet looks like (with the emissive channel activated, unfortunately incompatible with the engine, perhaps in the near future?):

Now this is how it looks like in-game:

HOW TO INSTALL:

1. Extract the "Stahlfrog_Helmet_Mod.rar" on your game directory (Ex: steamapps\common\Kenshi)
2. Run Kenshi to open up the launcher & click on the "Mods" tab
3. On the Mods list, check "Stahlfrog_Helmet.mod"
4. Click Ok & Enjoy.

HOW TO GET THE HELMET INGAME

It should be in your research window, the requirements for the research is iron plate and the research level should be at 4, so you'll probably need a somewhat advanced research station to get your hands on the helmet, as for crafting, once you have fully researched the helmet, go to your Armour smithing station and craft it.

Keep in mind that the helmet may have generic stats, as I mentioned previously, this is to test the concept of modding armor, if anyone needs help with Armour/cloth modding, i'll be happy to help as well and share what I learned.

Also note to the devs, I think that eventually we will have to worry about the modding hierarchy, I would much prefer to have a folder specifically for modding and have the engine read the files from within that folder instead of me dumping my files into the game data folder where people that installed my or other people's mods may struggle removing it from time to time, what i'm asking is for the construction set to recognize other folders instead of the vanilla ones, to check the texture/meshes/icon on a modding folder instead of mixing them up with the original game folder.
