Is there any way to get one in game at the moment without using mods? without them there are several technologies that cannon be researched. i've searched all the accessible ruins in 0.93, looted all the different old machines, and checked numerous vendors. but i've not been able to find anything beyond power cores, skeleton eyes, skeleton muscles and cpu units.

you can loot some out of locked safes in the labs(flood lands area.even found one not in a locked safe in one of the boxes in the labs.but from what i hear,they are not 100% gonna be there,cause they are super rare..so import to a new map,keeping men near NOT in the labs to reset the safes content..is a good sneaky way to get them...or just mod the item list in the FCS to make bars sell them for 1cat.

Are you 100% on that? i've looted all the labs twice, once for 0.93 and once for 0.93.1 and never found one.

Edit: i just checked the patch notes, and apparently as of 0.93.2 they have been added.

i found 1 ai core in the centre lab of the flood lands. not in a locked safe.

it really sounds like an item you should be able to find as loot of robotic enemies. Robot pirates or something (former amusement park robots gone insane, IN CHARACTER!)

I've searched every area currently impelemented on the map and come out with 2 ai cores, armories seem to have little to nothing of real value and i've only found the cores in the 2 ancient labs.

Found 1 AI core in the flood lands, but had to go back to base to stock up and food and med kits before I go back and finish looking about. Now we need to revisit that feature request about markers for fallen characters. Maybe a memorial wall as I'm sure that there will be more joining them.

I just found one in a cannibal inhabited ruin. Literally just 15 mins ago.
