Hi, I've only heard of this game yesterday when I installed Desura for the first time.

Yesterday in order of events: Installed Desura, saw this, nerded all over, cleaned the screen while demo installed, played demo, nerded again, bought the game, cleaned screen while it installed, played nonstop until 2 am and was late to my 8 am class because I slept in.

Hi, I picked up the game when I got over 100k gold and couldn't think of a way to spend it without recruiting more than one follower. I'm really liking the game so far, and figured the best way to show my support was to buy it. I'm really interested to see where this game goes, it has a staggering amount of potential at this early stage.

The last indie game I chose to invest in during pre-development was the magnificent Mount & Blade by Tale Worlds, spurred on by how well that turned out I seem to have got the strange idea into my head that investing in indie developers might be a worthwhile thing to do, and this particular gem piqued my interest; so I've thrown my money into the arena and will be checking in on the forums to report the occasional bug or stirr up the natives, I'm sure we'll all get along just fine.

Hello, new member here.

I came across this game on Desura and it looks amazing. The concepts described by the developer along with the expansiveness and free roaming aspects of the game look very promising. I love the ideas of procedural faction interactions as well as becoming your own entity that can effect the in game world. I will definitely be buying this game soon as I get home and I'm actually looking forward to writing up a review on my blog. Keep up the great work and don't stop dreaming big!

New member here.
I've had the game for awhile, but haven't played it much yet. I love the potential the game has though.

A bit about me... Started playing video games when the Atari 2600 first came out and haven't stopped. I'm fairly loose in games I like, I'll try almost anything but prefer strategy types (Paradox is my favourite developer). Lately though I've been looking for extremely casual games. Big$hot by Rusty Axe is a big time waster for me, and SKyrim is as well. And yes, I look at Skyrim as a casual game because I never feel I HAVE to keep playing for a little bit more, unlike Civilization where its always , 'just one more turn' and then the sun is coming up. My Gamersgate library is larger than I have time to play, but I keep looking at sales. I'm sure some of you can relate to that. lol

I'm Canadian who married an American girl, lived in the US for 10 years and then moved back to Canada. Don't worry, she's safe, she hasn't talked about invading other countries for months now. :P

So yeah, general info about me.

Hej!

I'm a Swedish guy living in Japan.
I've been playing games on and off since the dawn of my life. From battle-bugs and LBA to Jagged alliance and BG2. There are not many games that I play nowadays. A mix of being disappointed too many times, and not having as much free time I guess.

Kenshi might be in an unfinished state, with no sound and many ideas far from implemented, but this game still managed to get my imagination going. Losing my sense of time, something that few finished products can pull of today.

I bought Kenshi, as I hope everyone here on the forum will. Advertise and help out any way you can.
The more people investing in this, the faster we will see it grow.

I live in Fukuoka, working part time while trying to write a novel. I tend to dine often, on white rice alone; since my income is truly meager. If I can find the funds to support this, so can you!

Thanks for asking.
Swords, death, betrayal, and vengeance.
Low fantasy setting> hobby project.

The winter here is mild. We do get some snowflakes, but that's about it.
We got plenty of yatai around here, winter brings atsukan, so I'm happy.
I've been here just shy of 1 year.

What about you? ところで日本語は?

mines a hobby project as well. Post apocalyptic Zombie horror. post apocalyptic is my favorite genre and when you throw zombies in there it makes its that much better. i have read three, well done, great books but the rest i DL on my kindle dont seem to do it for me. seem very amateur, so im hoping to polish mine up and not have that quickly written feel to it. it will eventually have more than just zombie survival. there will be some political corruption and big research/pharmaceutical business gone bad, patriotism in america. (no, it is not going to be like resident evil in anyway except there are zombies in both. im about 30,000 words through the first book (maybe 1000 in the sequel but thats just so i dont forget where i wanna go!)

hows yours coming?

日本語をしゃべられるけどちょっと減ったですよ。I have been here for just over a year, but will be heading down south in about 2 weeks. Plan on doing a pilgrimage around Shikoku. 何で日本へすんでいる?

I take it yatai (屋台) is like a food stand, like a takoyaki stand for example? And as for sake, I don't tend to drink it hot. Although a friend of mine is a Sake fiend and loves the stuff, hot or cold, any time he can get it.

Greetings and salutations! I am a 22-year-old robotics engineering student from Finland. I've been around a month or two, but just recently had enough courage to register. Let me just state the obvious: I *love* Kenshi! Okay, it's still under developement, but I'm already hooked. It combines Mount&Blade (one of my favourite games) to more X-COMish (another one!) squad-customization, which is pretty much how I'd imagine my dream game to be like. :D Add a samurai-theme and goodbye freetime!

I've been thinking about making some music tracks for the background (oh, I am also an amateur composer, by the way...), and maybe, if possible, create a music mod for game. :)

Hi Guys, another new member here.

Same story as most, came across Kenshi on Desura and immediately fell in love. I love seeing stuff grow, and as a result I have a habit of getting involved/following indie games from very early on. Two other games which I was apart of since its early conception were Minecraft (One of the first 30'000 purchases) and M&B (from before it became the smash hit is is today). I am hoping to boast the same about Kenshi one day. I think there is a huge amount of potential in the game, even at its early stages its already something else to behold.
