I didn't mean anything negative. If anything I was thinking positive thoughts. The community is growing. For every 5 new posters in this thread we have one gusmil or txfirefighter who sticks around and makes regular posts. Slow but steady growth is a good thing.

Hiya, I found this project about a year and a half ago hunting for windexglow for something i long since forgotten now. I really loved this project and kept an eye on it and when the early alpha's came out, it was just to many things to do to bother with. Then I lost track of the games progress utill recently.
About a week ago I was programming something on my own and for no specific reason but the obviouse I thought of this project and decided to take a look and here I am still.

Personally I'm in agreeance with the theory that art & life (Chikens included) are the only things aliens would be interested in. They should have equivalent or better to about everything else.

Just a silly attempt at humor, saying that no matter where you come from (race/religion/etc) everyone seems to like chicken. allblackz had stated "then go eat some chicken" in the first post and that's what led me to thinking about it. Equalizer, meaning that in spite of our differences we probably all like chicken (have something in common).

mines a hobby project as well. Post apocalyptic Zombie horror. post apocalyptic is my favorite genre and when you throw zombies in there it makes its that much better. i have read three, well done, great books but the rest i DL on my kindle dont seem to do it for me. seem very amateur, so im hoping to polish mine up and not have that quickly written feel to it. it will eventually have more than just zombie survival. there will be some political corruption and big research/pharmaceutical business gone bad, patriotism in america. (no, it is not going to be like resident evil in anyway except there are zombies in both. im about 30,000 words through the first book (maybe 1000 in the sequel but thats just so i dont forget where i wanna go!)

Sorry for the late reply. My computer had to spend two weeks in China. One word: Dell.
My writing slowed down as I'm getting back into digital drawing for a degree. The teaching scene is not stable for a non-native in Japan. Hell, It's not stable for anyone, but point being that I'm going back to something that is a bit more safe for my long term stay. For the future.

You can find some really solid tips there. Writing is a lonely path, and a difficult one. If you do it purely out of creative love, then go for it. I'd be happy to help out with proof reading and such.

I take it yatai　（屋台） is like a food stand, like a takoyaki stand for example? And as for sake, I don't tend to drink it hot. Although a friend of mine is a Sake fiend and loves the stuff, hot or cold, any time he can get it.

I met my wife when she was an exchange student in Sweden some years back. To make a long story short, I wanted to try to live here for a year before we decided what to do long term. I'm still evaluating this awesome beast.

Yeah its similar to a food stand. They would fit right in Kenshi. People have these portable cart/kitchens. They bring what looks like a wooden monstrosity, unpack and boom, a handful of people can sit and drink, while the yatai master does his thing. Old school down to the bone.

Hehe but I bet neither of you touch natto?
