Pretty much, ninja water walking shoes we can put on our charcters so they can walk on water instead of having to swim.

Maybe this is just silly but how else are you gonna cross those acid waters?

Sure, right now we just swim in the stuff and don't give a fuck about the damage, but in the future that can be "balance out" maybe.

Right now the acid water is a feature, though. It makes it much harder to reach certain islands in one piece, for instance, thus adding to the difficulty of the game. It also increases the feasibility of the Hive and the Skeleton races, who do not have this restriction.

It's just a spur of the moment idea. I suddenly somehow remembered those ninja water walking shoes and thought it be funny to add them to the game if it was possible.

Right now the acid water we have is kinda meh in terms of damage, which it has to be otherwise you'd have very limited options of getting to certain places but it also means you can pretty much just swim in it without much of a care.

If water walking boots got added to the game that anyone could use then you can argue that the damage of these acid waters could be turned way up making them more of a proper obstacle for which you'd have to find a solution. The water walking boots can be the general solution everyone could use but you'd still have other options like having a Skeleton character in your crew.

I'm not sure if acid resistance has any effect on swimming through acid water but it would be cool that depending of the armor you would get less damage. If this is already the case then ignore what i just said.

Btw it would really cool if you could train endurance by wading through acid wate though but i guess that would be a bit too cheaty lol.
Also does someone know what the "burning" thing does? Or is this something they are still working and hasn't been properly added to the game yet?

I think it's the black clouds in "The Black Desert" Northeast of the skeleton city. if you run into them you take damage to chest. a lot of damage

No that's what the "gas" feature is used for. I thought there would be lava lakes somewhere in the south-west where "You-know-who" resides, because on the map it looks all reddish. But that isn't the case btw.
