AI cores more abundant now?

So i have scoured the entire map, and found a grand total of 1 ai core. Kind of annoying i have to import the game to finish my research..

I would really like to know where you are guaranteed to find one. In a mind of just continually importing until i get all i need.

I have read in places that Ancient Tech Labs are supposed to have guaranteed AI Cores, but my own experience does not correlate with that. I hit them all, no AI Cores. I imported the game recently, so far none either.

Ancient Lab and Ancient Tech Lab are two different towns, the only ones that are guaranteed to spawn AI cores are the second, minimum of 1, and lately most likely also a maximum of 1. Chances are you are forced to import anyway cause needing a total of 16, after recent patches you would likely find 2 in total without importing, and surely not 16 even if you are the luckiest man on earth. The only solution is to import right now, if you don't want to use mods.
