Hi guys. In my opinion a PC should gain some strength when doing hard labor (when not hungry)such, mining,weapon-armor smith, farming. It's weird for me that my miner has got 5 stenght while he has got 70+ on laboring. If you working with a pickaxe for weeks you know you should gain some strength.

What you're really suggesting though is the use of multiple stats at once. Buildings currently can only use one at once. As such they'd have to switch from labor to strength.
I'll admit it does make some sense that some jobs would both make use of - and raise - multiple stats. But that also means that you'll be terrible at the job when both labor skill and strength are low. If that was done at all, I'd think it would be that one stat( labor in this case ) is primary, and the secondary stat is raised at a much reduced rate, but still raised. I'd also think there would be a cap on how far you'd raise the secondary stat. Diminishing returns and all that.

I'm going to see if the FCS could do this. Done. Here is a link to the mod https://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/ ... 1450242948
The only thing about that is... you just swapped labor for strength. In that case, what is the labor stat? I guess some would prefer that, but it bugs me having a stat that's totally useless.lucidmadness wrote: ↑Wed Jul 25, 2018 12:51 amI'm going to see if the FCS could do this. Done. I also am concerned that it will allow you to over-train your strength. Farming would make you stronger... until a point where the gains vanish. At that point you'd need to do more. Moving more weight than farming would require. Ore production would result in more strength I think, but still you should hit a ceiling.

Make sense. I forget to mention another thing with the training dummies. They should give some weapon type stat. Like the max stat what you can get is 15 so the type stat max sould be 10. Sorry for my raw descript. I'm in rush.

I only made copper, iron, and the raw stone resources use strength. anything that is like a crafting bench etc stays the same using laboring. The idea is that laboring is more like doing tedious things, not hammering yourself into a ore deposit.

In first world, maybe. Other parts still consider any hard phisical work a labour, including mining, digging and hauling heavy stuff.lucidmadness wrote: ↑Sat Jul 28, 2018 10:42 pm(...) The idea is that laboring is more like doing tedious things, not hammering yourself into a ore deposit.
But anyway, i think we've found a little issue here indeed. Now it makes perfect sense as to why training dummies only train attack, and nothing else, and if you think about it, any single activity only give gains in a single skill.
Limitation or oversight?
