Medkits and sharing

I did a few searches but couldn't find anything on the subject..

Would it be possible to have medkits shared like food is?

To me it doesn't really make sense that it isn't shared, you have a downed squaddie with bandages, but the rest of your squad are all up and they are completely helpless, then you have to micro the bandages to a certain party member to then heal the downed member.

Also merging partly used medkits would be nice. I think it can be done with some of backpack, but otherwise they are taking unneccesery inventory space.

Put them in a medi crate and they will stack and merge.
