frequent crashing

I just got Kenshi today and it keeps crashing sometimes every few minutes sometime not for 30 minutes or so. Here is one of the crash dumps. In the kenshi.log file I always see an exception that looks like:
OGRE EXCEPTION(887a0005:RenderingAPIException): Failed to create rasterizer state

Assuming you're running an Nvidia GPU, I'd suggest going into the Nvidia control panel, then in "Manage 3d settings" turn the "Shader Cache" for Kenshi off.

No clue if that will help you, but it helped people with the same error message as you before. So it's worth a shot.
