since last update, game only runs ~5 mins before crash

Kenshi crashes like 5 mins into the game every time after update

I completely remove and reinstalled game
Made sure windows 10 and nvidia RTX 2070 drivers are up to date
Verified game in steam dozens of times
Ran norton utilities to clean and fix reg. issues
Ran the game with no mods at all after the reinstall, now have mods running - still the same crash

Any help would be good, Thanks

My guess would be the Genesis mod, its latest update introduced severe incompatibilities with other mods, causing crashes for lots of users who were using it with other mods they shouldn't be. I would try either disabling Genesis, or disabling other mods to locate the incompatible ones. Make sure to import the save as well.

But its back to the stone age. Is there a way of getting rid for the update or a location where I can find the previous kenshi? I can't go through another years + of bugs and mods to get it so the game is playable

Far as I know, the author of Genesis does not have old versions up for download anywhere, that's something you'd have to ask them about.

Worked for a while now the game does not even start. How does shutting off a pc for 8 hours stop a game from start. Just an fyi the pc was off a number of times Sunday after I removed the genesis mod. Think it is time to uninstall Kenshi for good this time!

I doubt it being turned off did anything. More likely, something changed in either your installations of other programs, or drivers.
