Game crashing when getting near Blister Hill

Getting constant crashes when getting near Blister Hill, I did verify all my files through steam, reinstalled the game , and removed all the mods and yet it keeps crashing when loading the city, There's something very wrong with the game.

my last playthrough of the game was back in 2021 and it was very smooth experience with no crashes and heavily modded , i'm returning to the game this week and idk if was some new update that caused this issue that i am not aware of ( even without mods).

some relevant info about my system

CPU: AMD Ryzen 5700X OC to 4.7 GHZ
GPU: AMD RX 580 8GB
RAM:2X 8GB 2666
Storage:
SSD M.2 1TB (game is installed on SSD)
HDD 1TB

Looks to me like your crashing is coming from the Distant Towns generation system. Try disabling it in the options menu.

For most users it works perfectly fine, but for some it causes constant crashes for unknown reasons.

I did that and it worked, weird because i always had this option on and never crashed till i replaced my Gpu in the end of 2021 when i stopped playing the game for a while.
