Ambiance/Instrumental, I don't listen to much music with vocals of any sort.

Same here in terms of instrumental. There are many metal bands with good sound, but then the lyrics just suck and kills the whole thing.

I quite like sabaton. Also an interesting band in japan called radwimps. great for just chilling out. Other than that could be anything; Frank Turner is nice to listen to and Ellegarden works for me. Some of these bands are foreign (ie. non-english) but all but 1 speak english in their songs for the most part.

Blind Guardian
Alestorm
For a bit a fun.

Kamelot For my more melodic tastes but I haven't heard the new singer yet.

DevilDriver
Dark Tranquility
For my harder tastes.

Some other include Dethklok yeah yeah from the cartoon but they might as well be a band.
Disturbed, not the most inspired by I like a lot of their rhythms.
Judas Priest of course.
And smaller collections of other bands who are more hit and miss than these.

in all your hard rock picks there was not Bullet for my valentine or KIllswitch Engage

two of my favorites. (well, killswitch replaced their lead singer and i dont like him as much as Howard Jones)

completely forgot those lol. Like them too, have almost everything from them too. I probably forgot other groups too, just enumerating what I remember since my collection is at home in lux while i'm in brussels.

I also have most albums from Tiesto but that kind of didn't belong into that list

edit: Led Zeppelin!! Maybe too old for some guys on this forum, got the complete collection i believe

I have a very broad taste in music, but mostly jazz/funky/soul type stuff here. ;) even the older type of jazz really sits well with me(big band, swing).

Some of my favorites
Nu-Jazz/Nu-Soul:
(ex.Mr.scruff - Jazz Potato , Quantic - Transatlantic , Fenomenon - Sleepy Meadows Of Buxton)
down tempo:
(ex.Nomak - Sanctuary , Aether - Variance , Fat Jon - Chara , Pretty Lights - Finally Moving )
Ambient house:
(ex.Carbon Based Lifeforms - MOS 6581 , Kodomo - Concept 16 )
Dubstep*Just a few*:
(ex.Mala - Alicia , Silkie - Taxi Me Get , Kryptic Minds - Cant Sleep , L-Wiz - Girl From Codeine City)

I've probably miss placed the majority of these songs in the wrong genres. but that's what genres I think they are in.

I guess i'm pretty much the same way. There's very few songs that I actually like that have vocals in them.
