Sorry, that was a little ranty. It's just I've tried writing some long topics on my ideas and other thoughts and I'd always try to be as clear and concise as possible, as well as fact checking. So, I'd spend like an hour writing, then I hit submit and it says the page timed out or something and then I'd have to reload and it's all gone. It's happened about 3 times, each one was an hour or more that I spent.

But, I would like to say I found a work around. Now I just save it as draft and work from there, saving that draft periodically.

I will be posting those ideas at a later time.

hmmm didn't know it timed out. but this board is different from the original too when it was hosted on another service.
but i keep in the habit of highlighting everything and coping it incase internet freaks out. ( which happens to me like every 20 minutes for Steam ) so i guess i never noticed it doing that on this forum.

but your workaround is most likely the best. but not sure if the timeout can be changed, that's Server owner commands if it even has it.

If you're on firefox i reccomend the addon form history control. It's silly to let random websites waste your time when they time out and all your entries get deleted. Better to have your browser save unwritten posts so it's retreivable if you want. I do not recommend telling that addon to save any payment information or similar for obvious security reasons, the addon will do whatever you set it to, i have mine set to save text boxes in forums and similar stuff.

Hey ,

So I bought this game from steam a few years ago and I have always kept it on my desktop. I recently moved and do not have internet , i'm at work, and decided to open up a new game, and oh my fucking lawd!!! The amount of stuff you have came up with is awesome and astounding. When i last played the game it didn't even have sound and yet i still managed to play 100+ hours on it. Now there are biomes , animals , then fucking power is a lot harder and farming/ mining is now a bitch. But fuck is it not fun , I have been staying up for the past week just to play it after my wife and kids go to sleep. Thanks for continuing to make this game and Good Going. But i have a question, when the full game launches will we the beta players automatically have the full version or are we gonna have to buy it again?

If you've already bought the game, you will have the full version on launch. Have no fear. :)

I mean i could complain all day and night about performance and devlopment time itself... but the game is so darn unique and fun that i dont think it warrants that. Not to mention that they are being worked on. So no complaints! good job devs, love to see guys like you so transparent with community and passionate about their game.

I used to play this a few years back and enjoyed it then but wondered if its ambition outreached the technology. Downloaded it (the experimental branch) again a week ago and, even though I've been keeping an eye on the steam updates, nothing prepared me for the wealth of content now included. In fact, it's only just becoming clear how much with each new start.

I think there are a number of great systems implemented and the complexity of their interaction must pose some pretty serious development challenges. If the optimisation phase goes well, I think a lot of the concerns most people might have will be eliminated. There are a few things I would raise as criticisms though:

Pathfinding is much better but still a bit erratic with pawns wandering off at 45 degrees to their target (i.e., walking the two short sides of a triangle rather than the hypotenuse. They often get stuck on interior modules when trying to cross a room or access a station and sometimes don't seem to be able to path to a storage crate from certain directions. Rebuilding the navmash (Ctrl-Shift-F11?) definitely helped and, as it is instantaneous, I was wondering why this isn't done automatically.

The art style is beautiful and the sunrises and sunsets breathtaking. However, the colour palette is very brown and it can be difficult to identify mobs and terrain features. I would love to see a bit more colour, perhaps in the clothing, or alternatively, floating names above the wandering gangs and beasts. Often, I only realise there's a threat when the portraits start going red.

Finally, it would be great to have a bit more control over stock and production, as well as eliminating the loop bugs that sometimes seem to occur where a character is constantly taking and putting items back in storage or into a workstation. Multiple jobs on the same queue also seem to cause problems and I usually have to have one cooking station per recipe to mitigate this. What I would really like to see though are options to craft x amount, craft until you have x amount, pause until x reaches x-y then craft again. I would also like a quick way to see what items are stored in my faction's inventory. I think Rimworld handles this really well for reference.

I'll be spending many an hour on this regardless but I think Kenshi has the potential to be an absolute gaming legend!

You guys at lofi games are some sick puppies. You create this fantastic structure for a game which updates so often that I had to actually buy the game because i got sick of pirating it so much. And as if that isn't enough every year or so there's enough new content for me to get addicted to a new file of this game all over. The game was addicting enough when there was only one playable race, but now it's so addictive I had to give up crack just to have more time for Kenshi. I hope you guys are happy with yourselves!
