Recently bought Kenshi on steam after it sat in my wishlist for ages.
I'm eager to start building my own empire. it would be great however to have a larger selection of building architectural styles, not just to distinguish factions but to choose my own aesthetic.
I don't know how moddable this would be, but somehow I can't believe it would be too difficult?
More/different architecture

you would need to be able to work with blender and or other 3D creator software.
you should read our modding forum for it will have more answers.

Do you believe the sexes should be equal?

I think it might also be nice to have stairs, roads, bridges and the like, which should get prioritised by AI. It will allow for some nice verticality in your settlements which I feel is lacking now. Moreover it will allow you to structure the paths AI takes in your settlements (or around them)
more stuff to build with is always nice though having snap-on custom buildings would be nice. pre-set buildings are okay but being able to design our own buildings would be nice.
as far as architecture yeah that's always nice to have in variety since we all have different tastes an cultures that we like.
perhaps some Western , Japanese, Early/Late European style buildings .
perhaps even some sci-fi/steam punk looking buildings and equipment just to give more flavor.

Or more alien like buildings and different kind of structure. With modding this is possible but you need in order to know and use blender or other 3d model and texture maker programs.
I personaly want new buildings because I plan to add later when I figure out new races and those need also their own unique building styles.
For this and to filling a settlement with life needs some civilian too but it is currently an extra feature and not sure if it could be added into the game for a while. Would be nice because otherwise you just build a ghost town but it would be nice if you build a settlement and you can spawn random npc-s which can be choosen by your choosed race or you can mix it with others for multicultural settlements. I personally wish they will add this because the settlement building only have sense if you have npcs to fill it. For your peoples you can set which houses theirs and which one could be the npc's houses.
I am currently playing as Shek and I made a nice town but nobody visits it or trying to check it. That is a bit immersion breaker because you wish to fill your settlements with some life.
