Hi,
I'm working on a custom race I want to add to Kenshi.
For a reference, how to mod the game I was using this great guide (a guide for adding armor however, because I was unable to find info about modding new races to the game):

I'm not much of a modder, however I worked a bit on 3D software, like unreal engine, zbrush and maya, so to test it out, I used a model from my previous project. I used Kenshi Blender Template file to check out how the original Kenshi human looks like. Sadly I'm not familiar with blender, what I know about 3d I've learned on student version of maya, so to get Kenshi files to more familiar environment for me:

1.I converted .blend Template to .fbx file and opened it in Maya.
2.Then I deleted female character and the sword from the Template, checked out the male human weight skinning, and replaced his mesh with my own, then I used the option to bind my model on existing Kenshi skeleton, in order to avoid messing up to many things, and trying to minimialize changes I made.
3.I've tried to change position of bones from the original Kenshi skeleton rig, so it would fit my model, but ultimately I was unable to pass through the bind pose function and ended up rigging skeleton with my character not matching the skeleton pose, however I manually painted weights bugged due to my makeshift method and ended up with something similiar to the weight paint I've seen on original human model.
4.I've imported the skinned .fbx file back to blender, to use addon to convert it to Kenshi OGRE .mesh.

5.Here I came up with a problem I do not know how to fix, while exporting my files from blender to .mesh. A few errors appeared, and the converted file didn't save on my drive.

I have no idea what I did wrong, I'm pretty sure I'm missing a few key things here. I had plans to make a several mods adding a race or two with their own starts and maybe some armor and gear, however I'm stuck. It sucks, because I love this game and I wanted to add up something from myself.
I'd really appreciate any tips.

Make sure the texture is in the first texture slot of the material in blender, or remove the material from the object entirely.
I should probably remove that section as Kenshi doesn't use those material files.

Thanks for a reply. I removed material, and the error disappeared. However there is a new one:

I have uploaded a new plugin in the blender topic that fixes all these material export issues (v0.8.13).

Everything works perfect with the new version.
Thanks a lot ! I'm going back to tinkering on my mod.
