allow quick subgroup assign and selection

in starcraft kind of games user can select an group of units and assign them to hotkeys like ctrl + 1

i know kenshi has squad which serves the same purpose

but the ctrl hotkeys are much aster and could serve extremely fluently in occasions when user need a temporary subgroup.

for example keep a squad of warriors and subgroup it into croosbowmen and frobtline attackers. controlling the subgroups using ctrl hotkeys would really help me in battle when i need to chance the stances of these subgroups.
or in a base quickly designate a subgroup to fix the gate while turret gunners are shooting the gate attackers.
