I had been quick saving and quick loading several times before returning. He was standing there normally and I went to talk to him. He asked me do I want to trade just like every time and I said yes.
Usually when you go trade with trader, his backpack opens. He didn't have backpack so only his own inventory opened. I was able to take all his stuff for free. It was like I had been looting him.
Works every time.
