The thing that really sold me initially on this game was the robust character customization. I always feel underwhelmed that wrestling games from the late 90s often have more options than majority of games containing this feature. This game nailed it with a variety of body slider options including the rare height slider (every human for example in Fallout 4 is the same height)!
What really blew me away was how character physically progress pending on how well you play the game. For example in 7 Days to Die, it just feels like you are stretching around a character model and the guy always looks like he goes to the gym 25/8 no matter what you do. The woman always have plain Jane bodies in majority of games. However in Kenshi, your body endures changes solely based on how you play the game. Whether it is fighting or doing specific tasks that alter bulk and visible muscle, choices matter. Nobody starts with abs or biceps and you have the freedom to keep it that way or not for each character.
It was a joy to finally have more of a nimble male character who fights from a distance with a crossbow and then pair him with a commanding muscular female martial artist that dives in head first. You can't really replicate that in any other game out there.
Even if it is at the cost of making the game look worse, please retain this in next game!
