Repeatly crashing

I can sometimes get the game to open as far as starting a new game and then it crashes, after which i get an error message saying my system isnt Directx11 compatible.

my computer has all the required specs to play Kenshi and it has the most up to date version of DirectX12 installed

I would suggest reinstalling/updating your graphics drivers. Having out of date drivers can cause your GPU to think it can't run DX11.

Otherwise, I would run a DXDiag, see if it detects any issues.
