Buying stores from cities(IDEA)

Just how a player can buy houses within a city , it would be a nice feature to be able to buy businesses, even going as far as giving out jobs to NPCs to furnish your supply, buying out trade caravans... from there it could be as much as separating your own men to an autonomous caravan(resting if you brought property in the city-as a option) in which could be a subgroup of your own faction. Can have a alert telling the player that their caravan is departing, then giving option such as resting go to ___, Exchange(buying and selling in next stop) Which i believe trade skill or controlling the route they take could manage this little background operation. My own mind is jumbled on the potential of the idea and many ways to go about it so i hope for input on this idea.
