stuck in small shack
So i built a small shack with a research bench in it and i placed all my troops in there, saved, and exited. When i loaded it up today they were all there except when i tried to move them out of the building they couldn't even with the door open. Also the building looks as if there are no units in it (the ceiling is still there and not invisible)

Hmmm, it sounds like the only sure fire fix will be to start a new game and "Import Squad reset position only" you may have to use ctrl+shift+F11 to reset the navmesh in your outpost when you get back to it if there are any issues with buildings at that point. You could try just rebuilding the navmesh, but I'm not sure that would work in that situation. Typically only one character will get stuck in a building through that bug, and then you can pick them up and carry them out and they'll be fine. Never heard of it happening to an entire squad before.
Just FYI, don't save with your guys in buildings. As long as they don't restart what they were doing before when you load the game, you will avoid them being stuck or underground.
I usually order my guys to stand right in front of the building they're working in (research, crafting, cooking, etc.) No problems this far. Seems annoying, but less annoying than to struggle to get a guy out of a building..

I had a similar issue, but for me once my character left the shack nobody could re-enter it. So my research bench and bed are inaccessible. I have another shack I use for blacksmithing but everything is fine with that. When I try to enter my other shack however they just run in circles around it.Idk if there is much else I could do besides restarting, but I'm hoping the next time I lead my game it will be fixed.
