area defense and patrol routes

area defense and patrol routes so you can better defend your base and th hire guards to defend your base but they would not be part of your group

patrols will probably come with the same update as trade routes
and the next update will have walls, but later Chris will be working more on things like Hold, standground, ect (probably the same time as trade routes due to patrols)

probably not, i just read and read and read and you get the picture.
so i find alot of side topics in other topics.
Mostly i just presume that Chris would implement it "later" and around the same time as certain things because when you think about how trade or patrols might work its likely they would use a similar feature so its alot easier for Chris.
Then if your gona give a character the ability to patrol you also might aswell give them a "Hold" "attack move" ect because its all around the same sorta thing and its always best to finish an area atleast to a "checkpoint" so you dont get confused when you come back later.
