Hello gang, I have been unable to play Kenshi for quite some time now (maybe a month or so). I was wondering how everyone is liking the latest update? Anybody have any stories to share? I'm itching to get back into the game, but am unable to at this point in time.
I quite like it, the quality of armors definitely went up a notch.
Though I was a little disapointed that armor crafting was not introduced in this patch.
Also disapointed at the the fact research hours are still bugged.
(Hours dont go minus, but take more hours than it shows)
Also, are there chain- or black shirts anymore?
Can't seem to find them anywhere.

I am pretty stoked to check out the new armors and other customization options once I get the chance. I was definitely looking forward to armor crafting though, I hope it comes to us soon. Are the shirts not in the game anymore? I picked up the chain from dead merchants, but maybe they have different gear than the last time I played. I am curious to see how much the npcs have changed, I heard they have various physical shapes and sizes now and with all of the new armor it must make it just that much more epic...
Where can I find a chain shirt? Are they lightweight? Something worth replacing my leather shirt with?

While i love the much higher quality of armor in-game, I'm a tad annoyed that there is a lack of different types of armor at the moment. Other then that I like it. The new model looks great, however a few bugs here and there make some of the NPC's look funny as hell.

yeah. its kinda annoying getting infinite wing wang, completely naked, and he has armor that has no values lol
I think why some things might be being phased out, is because he's working on them and with add them in, but they may look different or have different stats? nothing I'm saying is confirmed or anything, it's just my thoughts.
With the update, I was honestly really excited, but kind of disappointed at the same time. I got used to the simplicity of character creation, either pick if he has some hair or if he was shaved, and then choose his height and onward! Now the player has to go through everything and think about his character, and so on. But I do like the update. Is it just me, or have buildings been changed a little, too? I saw some minor appearance changes.
The armor changes of the update were very cool, too. Prior to the update my characters all had sand ninja armor on, and it still stayed in the update, but... UPDATED! the texturing and such look a lot better, and individual. It's easy to identify who is who; who is part of what faction, who might be trying to kill you, etc.

Interesting fact, the Training dummy MKII has a misaligned texture on it.
