Greetings and happy Friday, everyone...

I know Chris has a metric butt-load of stuff on his plate at the moment, but has he made any mention of how SOON(TM) into the future we will be able to have multiple squads, or be able to recruit more than 19 other NPC's to our faction (total of 20 "PC's" in your faction)? I was just wondering , since I'm now at a point where my town is progressing to the point where I could really use another full squad for just mining/weapon production/farming/cooking/etc...as well as defense...

I like the new changes from the last patch, and I'm looking forward to Walls and defensive fortifications (Ballistas...'nuff said.)...

Regards,

i know what you mean about and extra 20 or 40 people would really help. But i did find a bit of a work arround for it in the short term. i built enough stuff so that each production chain would use the full 20 people(or close to it). This means you can do something in bulk then move onto the next thing.

For example building, I had 3 stone mines (not fully automated they seem to slow down production, 3 stone processors (enhanced until they need 1 operator) then the rest as engineers to build my town, First thing i did was build 3 large buildings and fill them with building material storage crates. over a few hours my team produced over 2000 building materials and stored them in the warehouses, Then i built the rest of the town while still making materials, Once I was done building and the warehouses full again, I stopped stone production and move onto the large farm complex I had built with the whole team, did the same there, fill the warehouse next to the forge i had built with fabric and the shop with bread and rum. Then finnally moved onto weapon smithing.

the way i got around this was in the game files there is a forgotten construction kit. Load the game data in that and go all the way down to the bottom to "Game Start -offs". I edit the "Freedom Seekers" start to give me 50 guys right off the bat. all you do is change the the number of people you get. then save it.

ps make a backup of your data folder incase you break something playing around with that tool. Theres a way to make the edits into straight up mods but im too retarded so i do it this way.
