The Ideal - Why I haven't played Kenshi

I have been following Kenshi for a long time. A very, very long time when compared to all of the other games I have played. But though I have been following the game for years, I have only played it once, for twenty minutes, and that was all the back on 2011, when I first heard of it. Why, you may ask, have I not played it once in the years since then, even though there have been numerous updates, improving gameplay dramatically?

The answer is quite simple, really. I'd rather play the completed version of Chris's vision then play whatever has led up to that point. I have always been a perfectionist, and nothing annoys me quite so much as something that is uncomplete, in any way, shape, or form. (This may also explain my love-hate relationship with modding. )

But even if it takes another 2, 3, 5 years, I'll still wait for it all the same. Because while I have an intense hatred of the uncompleted, nothing fills me with more satisfaction then the idea of what Kenshi can, and will, be.
