[These bugs are for 0.70.2]

Since I didn't feel the need to make a billion separate posts I thought it would be wise to just make a big post of all the bugs I find within the 0.70.X version of the game.

So the first bug is about recruitment, what I get after hiring someone is well what is shown in the screenshot.

Hopefully it's view-able but to sum it up my whole squad selection disapears, I currently have 10 people but for some reason after recruiting people, I guess there isn't a specific person but the place was Catun, that apon recruiting them and after the character creation screen I have no portraits of any of my squad.

The fix so far is re-loading but I thought I'd bring it up if it hasn't already been brought up.

Found an exploit where you can actually equip a Pack Gar's backpack despite i assume it being for a Pack Gar, and also despite it's model not suiting humans. Here is a screenshot of it:

Also unable to successfully load a game while being in game, will just constantly load. Can provide a screenshot if needed.

-Had a bit of a frame rate issue but found out it was only the most recent 0.70.X version-

Found out that with the stable version of the game, frames are high and stable!, 0.70.X does give a bit of a drop, so I guess it will be fixed in later builds!

Found a bug, this time it comes with a crash dump!

So this one is about my single badass taking on a whole herd of beak things and slaughtering all of them without being hit (quite surprising from my expectations) and then a group of slave traders decided to restrain them, not sure if it was them that caused the bug and the crash but I assume so, that or something to do with me picking up the loot at their nest though I wasn't having much trouble with that.

Alright another bug that I found, though no sure how/what causes this but well it's Crash on load, where I'm about to face off against the Beak Things, though instead of facing off I turn to where I expect the slave traders to be, was trying to take them out so it wouldn't cause bugs but the crash happens instead.

Noticed something interesting though, upon loading near a nest what ends up happening is a full herd is spawned directly on top of the nest, is that supposed to happen? I ask since I expect that may be the bug.

I'll attach the save along with the crashdump

First thing I'd like to note, stating "0.70.X" isn't as helpful as stating the exact build when the issue is encountered.
Bugs found in 0.70.0 and 0.70.1 may no longer exist in 0.70.2 and the circumstances surrounding bugs in older builds may have changed so that there might be a different trigger causing the issue than what occurred previously.

In other words, it would be most helpful to state which version of 0.70.X encounters the bug.

Second thing, making "a billion" separate posts helps everyone, including fellow bug testers-in-arms, to see which issues have been reported already.
It keeps the forum board from being flooded by posts with generic titles, thus forcing everyone interested in resolving issues to have to click and read the details of each single post when the same issues are being reported in each post.

Anyways, thanks for your bug dropping efforts, and please look to add your information to existing posts in the future rather than making new posts should the issue already exist.

The crash around the nest was indeed due to slave traders capturing the animals, as using capture on animals will cause a crash. That was discovered quite readily in 70.0 when everyone thought the capture was a means they could get their first pet.

Well I see that indeed putting 0.70.X maybe an issue in some cases, I for one will in fact go into this and actually say whether a bug is fixed or not, this is on the assumption that in the next few weeks when I'm doing my bug/crash reports I come across issues that have been around since the first initial 0.70.0 update.

But I guess thanks for the criticism, didn't think though that posting a million versions of the loading area crash bug would be helpful if they are indeed the same bug.

Oh and thanks Zeal I didn't actually know that I guess if I wanted to be more specific with what version i'm using I could put next to the bug what version I was currently using. I guess that might help.

One awesome thing that I would like to see used in this forum is the spoiler tags, I could eliminate so much clutter if I could just put in tags for fixed bugs.

There are threads for general crashdumps with details surrounding the crash appended to the post, and the majority of issues encountered can be grouped under a single post.

This forum board is very limited with its tagging options, but it is possible for the OP to alter their 1st post in order to change the title of the entire thread, should it prove useful.

Another useful tip is the functionality of the 'Search' function. When you search for a word, or phrase, the Search will return the most recently updated threads containing these words, so it is possible to add a "TAGS" line to any posts made so that others can find it more easily using the Search.
