So I've been playing what seems to be my future dream game. Honestly I've been wanting to make a game in this vein (the mechanics more than the setting) for years but never really got around to starting it.
So its very frustrating that I'm having these issues. If the game wasn't so promising, they would make the game unplayable. I just put up with it because I want to play it so darn much.

Anywho - There doesn't really seem to be anything I can identify which seems to trigger the crash. Just seems to start happening a couple of minutes after starting to play, and from then on happens every minute or so. The symptoms are that the game either go black for a second, goes black for 10 seconds, or the game screen disappears altogether and some other application is showing up - but the game is still open and the mouse is obviously still trapped by the game. One other way is that the game will go into a white windowed mode.

I have an inkling that these are all just different magnitudes of the same issue manifesting but I'm not sure.

anyway eventually i get the message that the game has crashed completely and that the .zip file has been created.

System specs:
Windows 7 x64
nVidia 560 Ti Super Overclocked.

So I got to here writing this post and thought of something that helped for 1 other game I've played: setting GFX card to standard clock speed. My card is *factory* overclocked but some games (seemingly this one) still have issues.
So I opened up MSI Afterburner and set the clock speed down ~100MHz on the gpu and that seems to have solved all of this issue.

Just thought I'd finish this post so if anyone else has trouble they can see what I did to fix it. Not sure if this really counts as fixing the bug because it is factory overclocked, but it's low priority at most I guess.
