So similar to the old phantom squad bug... but.. different.. when i imported into a new game from a .70 game, I got a new squad in a seperate tab, however Instead of duplicating the default unit with default stats (untrained), these units were clearly not default units.. They all had stats that varied in ways that looked like it was an actual team of units that had been doing things. They were equipped sorta randomly (most notably several different helmet types and weapon types). And half of them had backpacks. One of their backpacks had several stacks of iron bars, and a stack of wine.
What's more.. Most of them had jobs assigned to them of machines or hauling.. Their skills were not randomized, as the people with jobs had high labor skills, while a couple of them had high labor and engineering... One of them (the head unit) had 46 in science, which makes it look like they were the researcher..
So.. where did this team come from? It was not even the same amount of units i had in my team upon import, and they were not the same type of units. None of my other savegames have ever looked like this team does, so it couldn't have been extracted from somewhere inside my other savegames. (aside from my solo character game, my first character has NEVER been the researcher)
Again.. these units were not default spawn units. This was a team that was used somewhere in some other universe. Some of these guys have stats up in the 60's and 70s (athletics, laboring and engineering for those heights). So was this a test team of sorts from the devs that found it's way into the coregame data or something?
