Greetings,
In a nutshell, I am a Game Art and Design student. My focus is on building and texturing 3D assets for video games.
I saw Kenshi on Greenlight and instantly bought the game, it is a true gem in a convoluted gaming world.
I also happened to notice on the FAQ that artwork and game assets are not as far along as the developer would like. Essentially, I am posting on the forums in hope that one of the admins can give me some info as to how I can contact the developer about helping build more assets for the game.
Any and all info would be a great help.
Thank you,
Dylan Mellott
I am interested in helping.
Its nice of you to help, more artist would speed the dev of the game. You should send a PM to chris or wait until he sees this post.
I think Chris is working with some freelancer(s) already since recently. He generally doesn't work with voluntaries cause he has had some bad experience with it.
But if you think you have what it takes and have something to show to the dev that will make him cry for joy, I'd say send him a pm on this forum (Chris-the-great).
merged topics that were definitely the same

Yeah, I was not sure if my post was relevant enough to be posted in the General section. I posted in both mainly for noticeability.

I just hope there's a contract for anyone that volunteers to help, so that their art assets can't be withdrawn when the games at the final stages, and either set back the game, or completely destroy it...I know it sucks to have it be brought up, but it happens quite often with good looking games (and mods).
I just really don't want this game destroyed. IT LOOKS AMAZING!

Yeah actually, I have tried just about every method possible to contact Chris. I've yet to hear anything in about a week so I figure either he is not interested or he is a busy man.
Don't worry about that, Chris is quite professional (when it matters). If he sees some art that looks absolutely perfect fr the game he'll ask for it with some kind of contract (and some money exchangeCyber_Donkey wrote:I just hope there's a contract for anyone that volunteers to help, so that their art assets can't be withdrawn when the games at the final stages, and either set back the game, or completely destroy it...I know it sucks to have it be brought up, but it happens quite often with good looking games (and mods).
