After the most recent update my characters will run in place after being issued orders after a battle. To elaborate once a battle has been completed I will try to get my medic to heal the other members of my squad. Instead he will run towards them and then continue to run in place. So then I tried to use the other members of my 12 man squad but all of them would simply repeat the behavior. Oddly enough, if I tried enough I could actually get them to complete the order however this took a lot of effort for a simple task.
Summed up: After battles characters will not stand still, constant movement or jogging in place. When issued orders they will move to the correct place but they will fail to actually complete first aid orders about 50% of the time or more. Attack orders are not affected by this behavior.
Edit*

I'm having the same problem. It is confirmed in my game too it has something to do with pressing the Medic button. In my observation it is more likely to happen if squad members are in one bunch. I can make it stop by separating squad units(just enough that they are not in one bundle) and having them move little with 3x speed. That usually helps.
