So I downloaded the demo. I do plan to buy the game (Just waiting for my paypal to update).
But one thing I noticed while playing is that there is no cursor lock. For those that don't know what it is let me explain:
I have 3 monitors. And when playing a game that only runs on one the mouse is locked to that monitor while in game. (I can't move over to another one). So in Kenshi when I'm trying to move the mouse around side to side, i have to be very careful not to go too far or the cursor will move over and the camera will stop moving. And this makes it hard to play. So I'm wondering if this will be implemented any time soon.
That said great game. Really looking forward to future updates.

A lot of developers are forgetting about proper multimonitor support these days. And for those of us that do have multimonitor systems it can make or break a game for us.

Dual and triple monitor is amazing. I could never go back to using a single monitor.wolfwood296 wrote:umm.... why do you have more than 1 screen![]()
I know what your talking about, and this is especially frustrating on RTSs. I had to get used to using the middle mouse button in combination with WASD. It's actually very fluid.DarthJonny wrote:So I downloaded the demo. I do plan to buy the game (Just waiting for my paypal to update).

Because if you have more than 1 monitor you can split the game in x parts, so the game is bigger. and remember, the bigger the image is, the smaller the pixels, So you get a pretty nice quality.wolfwood296 wrote:umm.... why do you have more than 1 screen![]()

With three monitors my resolution is 5760X1080. It looks amazing in some games. Most recently the Mech Warrior Online beta. But they screwed up the HUD :/wolfwood296 wrote:umm.... why do you have more than 1 screen![]()

As a multiple monitor user, I explain it to people like this.
Imagine a wooden desk with space for only a single sheet of paper on top of it.
You'd have to shuffle between which sheet is on top, or use half sheets of paper, it would be pretty inconvenient.
That's what using a single monitor is like. With dual or more monitors, you've increased your real-estate for how many documents you can have open at once and it can push productivity through the roof. It's less of a big deal nowadays with big LCDs of reasonable quality become increasingly cheaper, but it's still pretty significant.
Or when I'm just being non-productive, I'll usually have an internet browser fullscreened on one monitor and some chat programs, maybe a music player on the other. Or a game on one and a browser or chat on the other.
Oh, and despite the tangent, I haven't had much of an issue with cursor lock. Since I use the keyboard to scroll, it's kind of nice not having the cursor locked, that way I can hit pause (or not) and then mouse over to whatever I'm supposed to be working on on my other monitor without having to alt-tab all the way out.

Mech Warrior would be fun with triple monitors and an Artemis.DarthJonny wrote:With three monitors my resolution is 5760X1080. It looks amazing in some games. Most recently the Mech Warrior Online beta. But they screwed up the HUD :/wolfwood296 wrote:umm.... why do you have more than 1 screen![]()
