Favorite games from 90s
I was secluded for the major part of the world.
Grew up in a community to which computer games wasn't the talk of the day, more like the next building that would become a hazard if we dig around its foundations to much (hilly environment)
90s
Age of Empires I and II, went nuts when I found the trooper cheat code for Age of Empires
FF7, it is a must for its 3D
Patrician 2/3
Populous, must have been a genius at that game back then.
Pharao
Honor Mentions:
Sim City, I never had the chance to really play it though.

I made the mistake of playing an online game and forgot to click the 'disable cheats' box. Turned into a massive standoff with armies of those troopers and the nuke cars. World war 3 was fun. And oddly enough I won it by asking the other dude some question and then while he was too busy typing I rushed in and wiped him out. true strategical geniusDiruk wrote: Age of Empires I and II, went nuts when I found the trooper cheat code for Age of Empires

(1) Chrono Trigger (I still play this once a year religiously in January)
(2) Fallout 1 & 2
(3) Final Fantasy 8 (loads better than 7 which is over rated IMHO)
(4) Dragon Warrior 3 (Played the heck out of this as a kid)
(5) Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time
Honorable mention goes to Final Fantasy 9 which is my favorite out of all the Final Fantasy games every created. It would have been on the list but it was unfortunately released 6 months to late to be included in the 90s.

It is the ability to know how to copy and paste fast that is hardcore, ultimate noobing bomb.

By far though, the best game I had in Age of Empire 2 was a trench-like standoff, arrow-cannon-trebuchet line withe 2 full byzantine cavalry groups ftw! (gg for those that lose their hairs trying to find a way through it.)
Derp Derp Derpa!

I had to look up the release dates to make sure they were actually released in the 90's. Was surprised by some. Note that some of these games I have probably played at a later point.

Dune 2000 (1998)
Dungen Keeper (1997)
Theme Hospital (1997)
Rollercoaster Tycoon (1999)
Troddlers (Amiga, 1992)
Anno 1602 (1998)
The Settlers II (1996) & III (1998)
Command & Conquer (1995), Red Alert (1996), Tiberian Sun (1999)
Imperialism 2 (1999)
Baldur's Gate (1998)
Pokemon Red & Blue (Gameboy, 1999)
A Link to the Past (Gameboy, 1991), Link's Awakening (SNES, 1993), Ocarina of Time (N64, 1998)

KKND2: Krossfire (1998)

For PC I would say:
1. Civilization II (It was my first game I ever played on a PC lol)
2. XCOM: UFO Defense (I still play it)
3. Jagged Alliance 2
4. Age of Empires
5. Every other PC game I forgot about.
Honorable mentions:
Pokemon Blue. (Most time I ever spent on a game possibly ever. LOL)
GoldenEye 007
Streets of Rage

Tough one here, list could go on and on, some I've probably forgotten about by now:
#1 would be daggerfall after that the order is rather random
Darklands
the only MMORPG I've ever really liked was Darkness falls (used to play on dial-up!)
Arena, ofcourse, but Daggerfall trumped it in every way.
Romance of the 3 kingdoms (most any of them really)
Tekmo Super Bowl (NES version NOT the snes one!)
Diablo
Heroes of Might and magic 3 (2 was good too, but 3 was much better)
Wasteland was 80's so I guess that dosnt count.
Fallout and Fallout 2
Star Control 2
Lemmings (though I'm not sure it was really that good but it was addicting as hell)

I got all of them eventually, Trading for most of them turned me into quite the persuasive young Pokemon master. Lol. Which reminds me, when I first got it (I was really young) I didn't know what 'save' was. So I constantly restarted the game over and over. Lol I thought that's how the game was. Took about a few months before my friend showed me what 'save' was.Blxz wrote:
