I'm little into photographing and since there are few music makers who have been showing their work so, why not me as well. ;)

Here is 2 pics from Edinburgh that I think are quite good.

If you have been in Edinburgh, you might know the other place. It's taken from the hill that has strange, half build Parthenon replica that is behind me. Calton Hill was the name if I recall it right. I spend like 2 hours to get the camera settings right. It wasn't my camera and light was constantly changing =/. And let's face it, I got lucky. I wasn't even trying to get decent picture. I took it standing with free hands, and noticed afterwards the couple hand-to-hand.

The second picture is from little Toffee shop somewhere. Toffee there tasted great and looked good but it was extremely expensive. I like the focusing in this and every time I see this, it makes me to buy candy.

Comment and enjoy  And if you have taken/drawn/painted cool pictures, or have anything to say that is somehow related, then share it in this topic. :)

PS. Sorry for the copyright thing. Feel free to spread the pictures but if you want to use them for commercial purposes, please, at least tell me about it.

Oh. My. God.

They are like postcards. The silhouettes of the buildings, the smoke, the lighting and even the casual coincidence of the two people in the foreground. I love it.

As for your toffee photo, that is very nice. The unfocused fore and background really add a lot to the feel. I can just imagine rows upon rows of toffee and the warm colours make me feel....well, warm.

You, my friend, have some talent with a camera. Also your copyright is hilarious.

The quality is very professional.

The first one is just beautiful and the second one looks seriously like it was from a text book. (I also noticed three individuals behind the couple.)

You my friend took some damn good shots. :D

Stop, you make me all red  But thanks for the feedback :D Although, if real pro was checking my photos, I believe he would cry blood. But they are good for amateur I guess...

Also, if there is anyone with cool, self taken pics, I would be happy to see them. :D *Vink vink*

You have a good eye for composition. Tasteful use of perspective too. You use some extreme angles, but nothing over the top. Question, did you use photoshop at all to warm up your color scheme? I'm not trying to poke holes in your photographer cred, just wondering. I'm no old-school purist, I totally respect the use of photoshop. Just curious if you used photoshop/a certain lens/a camera setting to get that nice, warm color scheme on the first two.

I don't mind at all. Quite the opposite. :D

No. I didn't use photoshop or any kind of picture manipulation. (Expect the text) I'm not very good at it but I would like to learn.

I try simple things every now and then to learn but I usually fail to see what is good amount of color saturation/color warmth etc. and the original turns up better than edited. Also, every time I try to improve them I only start goofing around half the time and never get to anywhere ----> http://imgur.com/UGz8w (I had camera in a strange party few years back)

I had setting in camera that highlights red and yellow colors in the sunset pic. But I think there was nothing worth saying in toffee pic.

But yes. I think photo editing skills are great deal in photographing now days and I'm gonna try to be better in it. It just needs lot of work and time. And lot of pics to edit

Here is few pictures taken in Greece. I chose only a few because most of the pictures I took were just some tourist photos about friends and shit.

I'm glad to accept any criticism and comments ;)

Excellent picture quality, the red hotel and street night scene look great.

Thanks :D I have new style editor installed and I was trying it for the first time with the street. Originally I was going to make it just black and white but since it wasn't quite what I was expecting I tried something else

Very skilled. Have you considered some kind of professional application? I know it can be difficult to get into the industry and competition is fierce, but you show some real talent with these shots. You have a very good understanding of how to evoke certain kinds of emotions in your photography and what appears to be an understanding of the resulting picture and not just what you see with your own eyes (which can be very different).
