Game freezes shortly after load

Description:
Shortly after loading a save, the application will freeze, with CTRL+ALT+DEL being the quickest and easiest way to close out of it.

Steps to Reproduce:
1. Launch the game.
2. Load a save.
3. Wait

Consistency
Happens every single time the game is loaded. I have a suspicion that it is because of NPCs spawning in, as before it happened all the NPCs were gone, and the freeze happened just as all the shopkeepers and guards spawned in.

Windows Vista 64x
Windows 7
Processor
Intel(R) Core(TM) i7 CPU
960 @ 3.20 GHz

None that I can find.

I'm having the same problem, about 30 seconds to 1 minute after loading a game or starting a new game, it freezes. It doesn't crash, or make a crash dump. Just a total freeze.

It froze randomly, and as soon i would go to attack somebody. I think the attacking part is just a coincidence though.

Actually, if you do go to attack someone, the game freezes.
