Reformatted my PC

Hello to anyone who may have encountered the same issue as i have. I currently bought kenshi a while back and i think it is a great game, BUT there is one problem i encountered. When i reformatted my PC because of some stupid visual issues all my files " like it should do when reformatting" vanishes, but when i downloaded kenshi again i have to enter a Key and name or i wont be able to play the full game.
How do i get my details again to unlock the game fully? if anyone can help me with this i would be thankful.

when you buy you get a key that unlocks the game. look for it.

That visual issue with files, is that related to Kenshi or everything in general? If that is related to Kenshi then make a topic in Bug reports.

When you purchased a license for Kenshi did you save the information that was e-mailed to you? If so, then you just have to re-type the info. If you lost your license, then PM Chris ( Submitting some proof of purchase or tied e-mail tied to the license would most likely help).

The visual problem was mainly to do with the Aero scheme, i do not know how or what happen`d but all i know is i could not get any files or programs to work, and that it kept moving my files about. i do not have the information for the key either.

That sucks. But as toaster suggested, try sending chris a PM that mentions as much information as you have such as the email address that was tied to the purchase, etc.

If that doesn't work then all i can say is...bad luck. You should have realised that a reformat would get rid of the registry data and backed up what you could. A repurchase is only $10 so it is bearable. And you are even contributing a small amount more back to Kenshi. The community thanks you for it.

DIdn't you get an email when you bought kenshi?

Normally you would have received a key in your email inbox, if you're using an web-based mail service (like hotmail or gmail) the email should still be there.
If the emails have been deleted, simply tell Chris your email and he can resend your key (see this topic: http://www.lofigames.com/phpBB3/viewtop ... =12&t=1774 )

If that doesn't work, the service you used for purchasing or paying for Kenshi should still have some form of receipt/proof-of-payment (either btmicro or something like a credit card statement, a transaction record, a PayPal payment history or whatnot). Try to gather as much of this information as you can and send a PM to Chris with these details so he can verify your purchase and send you a new key.

Same thing here... reviving this topic since i find it useless to create another identical to this one, just reformatted, like 10 mins ago and I need to get my key back, unfortunally i've deleted my mailed key since i got like 9.000+ mails on my e-mail... I just don't remember wich e-mail I sent here xD

IF you did buy it on desura, you can go to the shopping cart an there should be a button saying somthing like "purchases" or somthing,
wich will give you a list of all the games you bought including keys. hope this helps somehow
