i think your tech progress persists even if you reload to a previous save, after dropping one of my wounded guys he fell through the world and several bandits were trying to kill a guy in one of my beds but could and were glitched attacking him indefinently.
EDIT the tech persist through saves didnt work when i tried to reproduce it
