Testing it out a bit today, tried to enter my own building (outpost IV I believe? the big circle one) and at first I could not see inside, had to zoom all the way til camera was literally in the building.

Built a generator right outside, tried to reenter building and couldn't.

This IS a new game with imported squad with buildings, so I understand this could also be a factor, but also unaware if it could have anything to do with the fact that I have not researched enough to be able to build one to first begin with, just thought I'd state it here.

I don't think it's because you haven't researched it. I had my outpost IV without this problem in an imported game.

The only time i've had something similar was when I had a bed near the wall. When someone lies down they walk over next it it, and the games seems to keep that point as the last known position. In my case the character was close to be considered outside, meaning I don't get vision inside the house [unless I had someone else in there of course].

Anyway, your case sounds peculiar. Perhaps there are some ownership issues? Does it still say it belongs to your faction?

Yep, it sure does, still owned by me. Also saw other people having this same issue, just not with owned buildings but being stuck inside an inn, so I'm starting to wonder if it's a bug in general with buildings of all sorts, or maybe specific types of buildings.

On a side note, another bug that i know has been around now that you mentioned a bed, was the one where after a squadie is done resting on a bed, he just stands up next to the bed, but repeats the animation of getting out of bed when you tell him to move.

Yeah that's a bit annoying.

I get buggy buildings all the time when expanding my settlement. I always fix it by either building and/or disasembling structures untill it is fixed. Sometimes one structure is enough, sometimes I have to build/disasemble 3+ structures before it works.

To Chris: If you want savegames with this sort of problem, I can recreate the problem easily, and send them to you..?

EDIT: My building with stone storage & building materials storage is the one most often affected by this, as far as I've noticed.

yes you can zip and upload here. If its too big then dropbox is a good option.

Alright I hope I did this right, it's a .rar file. My squad is right next to the outpost I was speaking of, used to be able to enter.

Also just another bug I forgot to mention, certain inventory items such as weapons and armors have a black background.

well, continued to play on with that save, after building a few other buildings, at some point I was able to re-enter the building without any problems. I'm not sure what caused it, or how to repeat it or anything. but you got my save file, hopefully it might help.
