When you open up a shop counter and put stuff in it, they say workers 0/1, however there is no way to have someone "man" the counter. right clicking the counter gives you two loot options instead of what i assume is supposed to be an "operate" type thing and a single loot option.

ditto

also - I should still like to point out that both large and small counters have the same inventory size and I wonder why.

Might be a stacking difference.

Has the shop counter thing been resolved for you yet? I personally would like to see my shop counters turn a profit, so I don't have to send a caravan every fifteen minutes XD Just waiting for them to work properly.
I'm not insane. I'm unique.

Good thing I found this thread. I was going crazy trying to figure out how to operate the shop counter and waiting for customers. :)

Yeah, all I see is: Loot, Loot, and Dismantle. I'd love to be able to sell my stuff, and traders and their caravan keep just swarming around my town. Idk if that's cause I'm close to a town or cause I have counters with stuff if them.

I believe the shop trading function hasnt been implemented yet, possibly wont for some time according to some threads, would be nice though. Im trying to mod the game now to make traders come and take away the "valuables" we all "find lying about" :) If anyone has a functioning(or even partly) mod for this lemme know so i dont do a second pointless one pls.

same subject but different reason

Walked into Brink to sell stuff and buy armour, seams the city didn't load fully, mainly the shop counters.

Update: Possibly Fixed?

This is fixed in my 0.47 Version, it now shows 0/0 for me.
Although it may just be another bug, not sure if a counter is supposed to have someone manning them 24/7. However if you read my comment to the following quote it seems like the counter doesn't currently require a worker.

According to user hBrown, trading is implemented however the traders will only buy bread, rum and fabrics for the time being until trading is expanded upon.
