My actual words when I saw this was the 6th best selling game EVER on steam was, "Holy butt cheeks."
6th best seller, I'm sure he can swim in a pool of pennies seeing how he just got stormed by all those purchases. I honestly think it would be a good idea to get some people to help you make the game, Chris. I and many people would love to see this game start to accelerate now that you have a huge source of income with this spike in popularity.

I doubt it. Personally I dislike the Steam forums for their lack of functionality. I still feel more at home in a forum like this.Koren wrote:Guessing these forums might get a bit quiet now that everyone is playing it on steam, and using the steam forums.

Just bought it now on Steam! Your work ethic and ideals have won me over Lo-Fi! Make this game what i know it can/will be!

That's good to hear
Kenshi is getting the attention she deserves. It's a shame that I haven't been "up to date" what's happening around Kenshi lately, but this sounds pretty damn awesome... Being among top sellers and stuff.
Hi all
Hi all

As a new guy that's here precisely because I saw it on Steam, I can see this small community suddenly getting real big real soon.Blxz wrote:Damn, these forums might become a little more busy in the future if even a handful of the new people stick around.
I mean damn, the game is fun. I just suffered my first TPK and I didn't even complain. It was actually fun in a surprising way to watch my entire party be offed just like that before my eyes - 2v3 and I had the numbers on my side! Almost felt a little like FTL in that aspect... failure is surprisingly just as fun as being successful!
Failure also adds a special flavour to your first real successCalPal wrote:failure is surprisingly just as fun as being successful!
Also don't get started on FTL, a lot of members here have the game and it's the best way to derail a topic. I'll hit the guys and spank the girls who do derail topics, you've been warned
Congrats Chris, not really surprised that it's selling well
You should always proofread carefully to make sure you didn't any words out.

I'm here because of Steam. I knew about this game in like 2011 but never really followed it, but since it's on Steam now and he is going to get a massive increase in money, I'm sure the updates will pick up. There was a peak of 755 people playing at one time today. That is at $11,325 that he has made today. That is also not counting the people pop in and out of the game which is invariably more than that figure, so he might have made upwards of around $20,000 today.

He's in the UK though IIRC, and I don't know what Steam charges (if anything) for a conversion fee. Presuming your 20k number is correct though, that would be about 13171.76 British Pound Sterling according to Google. That should be enough to get him the audio engine he has been wanting, I'm sure that a more regular income will benefit the game in a variety of ways. He has done a good job of knowing what to outsource and when in the past.TacKLed wrote:I'm here because of Steam. I died to some bandits a minute into my first game.
I now love this game.
