I dunno, I have a small "town" that allows me to gather building supplies as well as make bread or alcohol or clothing materials to sell. I just have 3-4 highly trained guards that can handle an attack.

how to make alcohol? can only make stone and wheat..

Can you make a Still ? If you can't, research it, then make one. Then all you need is wheat and water to make rum. So make sure you have those ready as well. Rum sells for the most btw.. so a good investment. AFAIKR, something around 500ish per jug, although they can get heavy fast.

EDIT- hmm maybe you have not done research yet... make a research table and get one of your guys using it. Then click the TECH button and pick some stuff and start knocking it out. Hope this helps.
