Will there be any wildlife?

I am so far loving the hell out of this game but couldn't help but notice there were no animals at all. I think it would go a long way towards enhancing the realism of the environment by having wild animals like birds, lizards, camels, horses, lions, etc. Also it would be fun to fight larger animals and maybe be able to skin them and harvest their meat, etc. Maybe you could capture larger animals and make them into mounts or even be able to breed them in your settlement.

I'm pretty sure the joke must've involved some rumors about Catherine the Great, and possibly iSuck too.
