"REQUESTING KEY..." PROBLEM WITH STEAM

Some people are reporting a problem where they buy Kenshi on Steam and the key pop-up window just says "Requesting key..." permanently.

Everyone who has this problem, and if it's still ongoing:

1st: make sure you update to Steam beta version, then restart steam.
2nd: If that doesn't fix it, and the problem is definitely still there, post here with your Steam username. I will collect a few usernames and forward them to Valve's technical support to help them find the problem.

Try this, let me know if it works:

I had this problem today, deleted a file called "localconfig.vdf" in C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\userdata\92291496\config
Restart steam and problem solved.

I've got the same problem. Switching to the beta hasn't fixed it, and the only responses I seem to get are the generic stuff like 'restart Steam', or 'reboot your computer'- fixes for everything else that usually don't work.

Steam name is 'Gridalien', or 'Freakypred'.
