I was just wondering what do you do with water? Is it needed? How would I use it? Also where can I find more building materials? I ran out and the shops don't seem to have them in the towns iv been to.

Water is sued for farming at the moment. One day it will probably be used for drinking too.

Building materials can be made (since you appear to have a well you should also build the relevant mining facilities). In town find the construction shopkeeper. Most towns should have one hiding in their shops somewhere. He will be the same guy you originally bought them from, shopkeepers should respawn their stuff after about 20 mins or so.

I think it's also used for cooking, as well.

I knew for rum it was important, but I don't recall water being an ingredient for baking in-game - maybe it'll be implemented later, but I haven't seen that for the time being.

Also, as more of a feature request, there should be two versions of water: one for trade and industrial/farming uses, and the other for actual drinking purposes. Because if I'm going to need to have food and water on me to survive, I definitely do not want to be carrying around a massive barrel of water so my party can drink from it. It would also save a lot of money if the only water I need to have on me is, you know, small and cheap, something that'll help in the wild, like a flask.

Iv searched through 4 towns thoroughly and still cant seem to find the building materials vendor. They only seem to have steel poles and other items. Everything but building materials...
Edit: I will be sure to go to every town and look at every shop this time before giving up on finding the magical building materials all together. :(

Look for a construction trader. You'll find one especially in Trader's Edge, but also in other cities. They can cost anywhere from 225 to around 500 cats, so have a little money saved up in case.

I could've sworn I answered this. Maybe my post got deleted or something. Anyway the building materials vendors are found inside the big trade buildings. One guy in them sells the trade commodities, and the other sells building materials. You should also be able to buy some building materials from the independent outposts that aren't in cities.

Yeah. You answered it Tolwrath, I thought I could post it in 2 different parts of the forums. It seemed more like a gameplay worthy question then where I had it. Im going to try to find the guy today. :D

Oh thank God, I thought I had gone insane after answering too many "question from someone who joined after March 20th and has under 15 posts" threads.

Hello, I did a search and did not see a topic talking about disappearing corpses. Do corpses ever disappear? Because bandits tend to assault outposts and towns fairly frequently, and die, one would think they will learn their lesson pretty quick. But in just like 3 days, I got corpses piling up inside of town and around the immediate outside area of town.

It is starting to bother me, and make me worry will all those corpses slow down the game?

They should "decay" after about one ingame day. Try reloading.

I've actually seen a body decay, all the equipment dissapears and then a second or so later the body poofs.
