Any idea when Desura keys will work on Steam?

I hate to do 'Are we there yet?' posts but I have to admit I've been wondering the same thing. Seems like the non Desura people got their's faster than this.

I assume a this point it's on Valve time which means some time between now and when Half Life 3 gets release.

well i just look read because my yahoo delete my email with my key and i had to ask for a 2 one it will not work with steam does that mean i have to buy it again

Darkness I'm assuming English is not your primary language? Did I understand correctly that you deleted your email that had the Serial Key in it? Where did you purchase Kenshi from?


Chris, it seems as if Desura keys just don't work at all on steam, you wouldn't happen to know when that will all be resolved would you?

I'm going to be that annoying guy who makes yet another post about having complications with registering his cd key on steam.

I got my cd key through the indiegogo campaign, so I presume it's in the same category as the ones bought from the website.

I have Steam beta enabled and updated as well.

I'm not in any hurry or anything, just curious if the process of transferring the keys is still under way. Any extra information would be nice. A reply would be appreciated but if not, it's no big deal.

I hate to be a pain but is there any idea at all when the Desura keys will happen or is it totally in Valve's hands now?

It's kind of depressing that the Gamersgate and even IndieFort people who paid less for it got it so soon and us Desura people didn't.

Funny thing is I had the chance to buy it cheaper with Indie Fort but passed because I didn't trust that we'd get a Steam key that way. Guess the joke's on me.

Somebody clearly dropped the ball on the Desura keys somewhere and forgot and needs to be reminded.

I'm starting to wonder if it's ever going to happen at all.

I've been checking every day and it's frustrating because getting a Steam key was one of the reasons I bough this game early. It was said on the Greenlight page that developer would try to get Steam keys for existing purchasers if it was possible. Well it was possible and some people got their's rather quickly at that.

Obviously something is wrong somewhere with the Desura keys and I'd really appreciate it if someone followed up on this.

From now on I think I pretty much will wait for games to get on Steam before buying and not buy in early. This is just too much wait and hassle to save a few extra dollars.

So if you have Desura Kenshi key, I urge you to try it on steam now and post your results (remember beta mode needs to be on).

I received a key from you since my old key was lost and the key I received doesn't work on steam. I figured I would wait 6 months or so before buggin you about it.
