Weapon stats

Finally got to weapons tech 14 and wanted to make an Edge 5 extended katana and noticed that the stats were the same as on the Edge 4 version, except that it was more valuable.

I haven't checked the stats of all weapons, but the one's I did check, like the plank edge 5 for example had a .1 improvement on edge 4 in attack.

I assume this is a mistake for the katana?
