Building Materials

Since the last update for some reason builders wont take any building materials from storage. They only take them from the refineries. Needless to say this slows down construction a lot.

Is this a new bug or have I just messed something up? I rebuilt all my storage in an Outpost III if that matters.

I think the builders put a priority on the refinery, so that the workers there won't have to run to the storage as well. As far as I know, this is not a bug.

Try not having any production from the refinery. Do they go to the storage?

Oh no, I know that. But they won't go to the storage now no matter what. If the refinery is empty, they won't do anything, despite me having over 200 building materials stored in an unlocked building not twenty feet away.

Kain_lee is right - they should go to the storage if the refinery is full (AFAIK).

I actually find it annoying though. my builder who can carry 20+ blocks ignores my 160 blocks in storage and picks the 1 block available from the refinery instead. Better AI desired.

Yea, I know they should, but they don't. That's my point. I don't know if they aren't because I messed something up somewhere or because of a bug.

Seems my 2 main builders were doing that as well, until i manaully brought them to the chest and looted it, after that tyhey went to the chest. Guess they had to be shown where it was...
